HTC U 11 with Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC, 4GB of RAM spotted on GeekBench ahead of May 16 launch

HTC unveiled two smartphones under its U-series in January, but many have been wondering when the company will reveal the third one, the U 11. Now it seems that the upcoming device has been spotted on Android benchmark database Geekbench, featuring a Snapdragon 835 processor and 4GB RAM. After launching the U Play and U Ultra earlier this year, HTC is reportedly working on its next flagship smartphone, dubbed as the HTC U 11. It is expected to be announced on May 16 and ahead of the purported launch, the flagship smartphone has showed up on benchmarking website GeekBench, giving us a glimpse into its innards.

The GeekBench listing reveals a few specifications that the smartphone is expected to come packed with. According to the listing, HTC U11 will be powered by the latest octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC clocked at 1.9Ghz. Further, the smartphone is expected to run on the latest Android 7.1.1 Nougat. GeekBench listing also shows that the upcoming HTC smartphone will pack 4GB of RAM with 64GB internal storage.

HTC U11 is expected to be launched in two variants, one with the above mentioned 4GB RAM, 64GB storage and the premium version of the smartphone will come with 6GB RAM with 128GB internal storage.

Apart from the specs details, GeekBench also reveals the single-core and multi-core test of the upcoming HTC U11. It reveals that the smartphone managed to score around 1912 during the single-core test. While on the other hand during the multi-core test the upcoming HTC U11 scores 6137. The scores seem to be pretty much similar to that of the recently announced Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+.
